  1. It’s a relief that God, through the words of St. Paul makes it very clear what we must do to love Him and our neighbor. Hymns, Psalms, and Spiritual songs, what a way to bless your neighbor! The Lutheran Liburgical Brotherhood has a prayer book full of those! I’ve downloaded some fo the Psalms and Old Testament Canticles. You spoke of Moses and how he removed his sandals at the burning bush. Well, God gave him a song: Ex. 15–1-18. We sing this canticle during Lent at the midweek services. But it’s a wonderful prayer, too. We see how God delivered the children of Israel. Yes, to walk in what is wise is truly the better way. Thank you for reminding us of the “armor of God”. Maybe Romans speaks of this, too. Romans 8, the whole chapter is a good place to go when discouragement wants to choke you. Of course, it is even better to start at the beginning of Romans and read the whole book. Then you know, graphically, what the struggle is, who we’re fighting, and who delivers and sanctifies us. Thanks again for your needful study of Baptism
